Friends Mike fisher and Zadoc Brown came over from maui to fish with on the Northern Lights. Our friend Hal Westbrook of Oregon joined them as we went looking for the same dolphin pod we had yesterday. We had high hopes for another blind bite like we had yesterday. Sure enough we did and missed him again. We couldn’t believe it. Soon after we tagged a spearfish which turned our luck around. We found a nice tuna trolling in the dolphin pod weighing 165 pounds. The spread out pod came together after a hour and the tuna consolidated helping us get a bite on our Polu Kai Jet again. Because the pod had come tight we put our tuna stick out a caught another one right away making our day a great one. Our barbecue later was a great time and good to get caught up with old friends.
