Finally got one!!! Tough fishing this full moon. Fish are here just hard for us to catch.went 0-7 the other day so this little guy was a sight for sore eyes.

Day saver. Slow trolling all morning so we went to the bottom before we went in and caught this nice Ilya on light tackle

Jim with a 180 ahi we caught last Thursday in the blind. Missed a nice blue and a small blue before that . Later in the week the fishing slowed down for us with 2 days with no bites. The marlin fishing still spread out and tough right now. We look forward to more consistent fishing.

Kona said good bye to Jim Rizzuto the other day.Family and friends scattered his ashes at sea topped with flowers and a 3 pass salute by the fleet. He will be missed by for helping put Kona Fishing on the map. He was a great friend always interested in whatever fishing was happening in the state and how it could link Hawaii to fishing world wide. Who will be our next Hawaii Fishing Ambassador?? Catch em up up there –you will be truly missed.

Saw 4 blues today and Miss Laurel had one right to the boat that came off. Tough to say good bye until next year. The Davids head back to Miami Florida to run the world famous LandH. Bob with his blue he caught today his son Scott jumped one off right before we ran in at 12. Fishing still spread out and hard but seems like the fish are here we just need some current.

Famous junior angler Laurel David of LandH Sportsfishing using our Release Marine chair to catch her blue before her little brother Chris caught (6years old)caught his blue. Laurel had another blue almost to leader but it came off ending up the day 2-4. Had a 5th in the pattern on a double that didn’t bite. Happy Birthday Chris!!!

Wild jump of the blue we caught yesterday with the David Family Cpat Jimmy and family from the world famous Land H out of Miami fishing with us. Deb released this blue right after she caught a spearfish. Fun day
